Hello everyone! Today I'm going to talk about recycling

Recycling is part of the three R´s: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and for me recycling is defined as a process that occurs after the use of the materials, where they are used to make a new material or the same and giving it a new use.

Some of the materials that are recycled are plastics, glass, cans, paper and cardboard, there are more materials that can be recycled, but these are the ones that are commonly found in recycling centers, I have seen in the city of Santiago.

It is important today to recycle, because we cannot continue to exploit the earth's resources, and since there is the possibility of recycling existing materials we are contributing to reducing the carbon footprint to the atmosphere and contributing to reducing global warming.

In Chile there is still not much awareness about the culture of recycling, many people are uninformed, the most important thing is to research on the subject and then share with the closest ones to motivate this great cause, some recycle options are: have a compost at home, or bring the corresponding materials to the recycling centers. I also believe it is important to promote recycling in public places as in this faculty.
